The latest annual and monthly Northern Ireland hotel and guesthouse/guest accommodation/ B&B occupancy and sales figures. The latest annual self-catering occupancy and sales figures for Northern Ireland. Monthly United Kingdom Occupancy Survey Reports which incorporate results from surveys of serviced accommodation occupancy undertaken by each of the four national tourist boards in the UK.

There was a 42% increase in bed-spaces sold in hotels, guesthouses, guest accommodation and B&Bs during 2017 which equates to 77,300 additional bed-spaces sold compared with January 2016.

Northern Ireland’s hotels achieved unprecedented average occupancy levels and sales for January 2017, an excellent start to 2017.

Guesthouses, guest accommodation and B&Bs delivered a strong performance during January 2017, with increases in both occupancy and sales compared with January 2016.

The self-catering sector annual unit occupancy for 2015 was 36%, an increase of 3 percentage points when compared with 2014. There were 32,800 weeks sold during 2015, an increase of 4%.
