From May, Belle Isle will be the exclusive Northern Ireland home of the Bear Grylls Island Survival Academy.

Larchfield Estate, Lisburn

Established as one of Ireland’s top privately owned venues by Gavin and Sarah Mackie in 2007 Larchfield Estate now hosts over 130 events a year. Hillsborough Castle & Gardens, Lisburn


Hillsborough Castle and Gardens will be closed to visitors from 1st October 2017 while major construction, conservation and re-presentation works get underway.

It is anticipated some areas of the Gardens may re-open from Easter 2018.

Hillsborough Castle itself will re-open to visitors on 1st July 2018.

The new visitor facilities at both the upper and lower sites, with a café, 2 new shops, a restaurant, a new Clore Education & Learning Space along with the new car & coach park, accessed directly from the south-bound carriageway from the A1, will open from Easter 2019.
