Tourism NI COVID 19 BuSiness Support Helpline - Now Open

We have set up a dedicated telephone line service and online enquiry facility for our industry. We strongly encourage you to get in touch with us with any queries that you have and we will do our very best to get you the answers you need. Please call us on 028 95925313, lines open Monday to Sunday 9-5.  Outside of these hours please submit an online query via the 'contact us' form at the bottom of the page.

Government response - The Chancellor has now set out a package of measures to support  businesses through this period of disruption caused by COVID-19 including the announcement of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme on Friday 20th Marc​h. Further information is coming through in relation to these measures and how to access them and this is being updated on www.gov.uk and NI Business Info

Other Guidance for Tourism Businesses

Hospitality Ulster has produced comprehensive and practical advice for the hospitality industry including guidance on the Government Support available. (As of 25th March 2020).

Hospitality Ulster with MTB solicitors have developed Employers Advice RE Furloughing and the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, for more information click here.  They also have a helpful checklist for safeguarding your property at this time, click here.

Hospitality Ulster in partnership with legal specialists MTB Solicitors have established a dedicated hotline for members affected by COVID-19, as an immediate response. For more information click here.

Northern Ireland Hotels Federation (NIHF) has compiled comprehensive guidance for the hotel sector and will be useful advice for anyone operating in the tourism sector.

On 25 March it was announced businesses will receive an additional 3 months to file accounts with Companies House to help companies avoid penalties as they deal with the impact of COVID-19. For more information click here.
