The latest annual and monthly Northern Ireland hotel and guest house/guest accommodation/ B&B occupancy and sales figures. The latest annual self-catering occupancy and sales figures for Northern Ireland. Monthly United Kingdom Occupancy Survey Reports which incorporate results from surveys of serviced accommodation occupancy undertaken by each of the four national tourist boards in the UK.

Overall almost 275,000 bed-spaces were sold in hotels, guest houses, guest accommodation and B&Bs during January 2020, an increase of 4% on January 2019.

Hotels delivered a strong performance during January 2020 with increases in both room and bed-space sales compared with January 2019.

The guest house, guest accommodation and B&B sector experienced a decline in room and bed-spaces sales during January 2020 compared with January 2019.

The self-catering sector annual unit occupancy for 2018 was 33%. There were an estimated 45,000 weeks sold during 2018, an increase of 13%.

The total number of rooms and bed-spaces available by type of accommodation are presented, broken down by Local Government District.
