Claret Jug Swings into Dublin ahead of The 148th Open this July

The prestigious Claret Jug officially arrived in Dublin on Wednesday 3rd April in advance of The 148th Open at Royal Portrush, from 14 – 21 July 2019.
John Bamber, Chairman of Royal Portrush Golf Club’s Open Championship Organising Committee and Tourism Northern Ireland’s Fiona Cunningham are calling on people to join the excitement of the prestigious Championship’s historic return to NI in almost 70 years, with the recent announcement that additional tickets are set to go on sale on 15th April.
With record-breaking sell-out of tickets to date, and with over 600 million viewers across the world, the Championship is set to leave a lasting legacy as Northern Ireland’s largest ever event, with visitors encouraged to soak up the huge buzz before, during and after the global tournament visits our shores.
