Covid-19 Business and Financial Planning Scheme Deadline 2nd November
Published October 29, 2020
Tourism NI’s Covid-19 Business and Planning Support Programme closes for expression of interest on Monday 2nd November.
Tourism NI’s Business and Financial Planning Support Programme, which launched earlier this month, has been developed to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) assess the impacts of Covid-19 and develop a strategic recovery plan for the business.
The scheme will provide up to £8,000 to eligible businesses to undertake a business and financial review to plan for recovery.
In addition to the scheme, Tourism NI are continuing to support tourism businesses through a series of tailored Tourism Enterprise Development (TED) webinars designed specifically for the NI tourism and hospitality industry during this difficult time.
Tourism NI’s Chief Executive, John McGrillen commented:
“This is a very challenging time for many tourism businesses across Northern Ireland. The tourism market has changed significantly and businesses now need to adapt to attract closer-to-home markets to help cope with changing consumer demands. Tourism NI’s new programme will provide much needed support to those businesses by putting plans in place that best position them for recovery.”
Applicants to the Tourism NI Businesses and Financial Planning Support Programme must be an existing tourism business operating in Northern Ireland. Businesses must complete an expression of interest form by 3pm on 2 November before applying. The scheme will close at 5pm on 30 November 2020.
