Share your St. Patrick’s Day, Easter & Mother’s Day content with us

Please email your story, images and video to us at digital@tourismni.com. Scroll to the bottom of this article for some top tips for creating content.

Northern Ireland continues to be in lockdown as we battle against the Covid-19 pandemic. We are asking for content that will help engage and entertain our audiences during this time and help keep Northern Ireland top of mind for when we can travel again. This content may be used on our social and digital media channels, in press releases or in pitch features for media in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Here’s how you can get involved:

St Patrick’s Day (17 March 2021)

This key date is coming up in March and although things may not be back to normal for 2021, we would love to hear about any virtual events taking place to help celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Perhaps you are organising a live concert, have a traditional recipe to share, an idea for some fun crafting activities, or a delicious cocktail in mind.  Please email us at digital@tourismni.com.

Easter (4 April 2021)

Media are eager for Easter-themed content so please share your stories with us! Perhaps you’re a chocolate company making special Easter treats, an experience provider organizing a fun virtual event for children or an accommodation provider that is pivoting to creating delicious hampers full of local produce? Please email us at digital@tourismni.com.

Mother’s Day (14 March 2021)

Are you a tourism or hospitality experience offering vouchers so that people can give their mums some well-deserved rest and relaxation once we are allowed to travel again? Let us know at digital@tourismni.com.

Top tips for creating GIANT content

Video content performs really well! And there are many different types from landscape cinematic videos, to fun vertical Instagram reels.

Please don't worry if you don’t have professional video skills. A very simple video shot on your mobile phone can work extremely well. It’s all about being authentic.

For help creating videos, check out our free online webinars.

Please supply high-quality images (free from emojis, gifs, filters) in a landscape format.

Please ensure you submit a short descriptive paragraph for context with any video or imagery sent.

We’ve found that selfie videos and images do not perform very well.

You can email us at digital@tourismni.com with this content.
