Northern Regional College - Using social media to market products & services

This unit is offered as part of the Level 2 OCN NI Digital Marketing Qualification (QCF) and is an ideal starting point for business owners, managers and staff with limited experience of social media marketing. Learn how to engage your customers, build trust, relationships and conversations.

Course Content

Understand the use of social media to market products and services.
Identify the forms of social media on the internet; how social media can be used to build brand awareness; how social media can be used to market the products and/or services of a specific industry sector.

Using different social media platforms to deliver marketing to customers, including:
• Facebook • Twitter • LinkedIn

Develop campaign goals, objectives and KPI’s; create and deliver a social media campaign; monitor and report back on campaign outcomes; evaluate results and make recommendations for future campaigns.
