Game of Thrones - Get Your Head in the Game

Sorry this event has now finished.

Game of Thrones Industry Insight Day - Thursday 10th May 2018

As we head towards the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones® we need to ensure that Northern Ireland lives up to its reputation as home of Thrones and continues to be the destination of choice for the millions of Game of Thrones® fans long after the final scene is filmed.

As the show’s principal filming location for almost 10 years we now welcome tens of thousands of visitors from around the world who are exploring the spectacular filming locations where so many of the pivotal scenes were shot as well as immersing themselves in engaging and fun experiences. We have seen the visit extend from a day trip to a visit of 2-3 days or more making Game of Thrones® a valuable contributor to our objective of increasing the number of overnight stays in Northern Ireland.

In order to build on this success, Tourism NI is staging a special Game of Thrones® insight event to bring together the tourism industry. Let's work together to ensure we are all following the same script and are in a position to maximise this unique opportunity for Northern Ireland tourism.

Event Details:

  • Date - Thursday 10th May 2018
  • Time - 9am registration, concluding with a networking lunch at 1pm
  • Venue - Odeon Cinema, Victoria Square, Belfast

Who should attend?
This insight event is designed for tourism businesses and organisations who are currently offering Game of Thrones® experiences or have an interest in being part of this opportunity.
