Following the success of the Incentive Business Insights masterclass which was held in January 2015, Tourism Northern Ireland invite you to attend a half day masterclass entitled ‘How to Win and Handle Incentive Business’.
The masterclass is an ideal opportunity for Northern Ireland industry who are thinking about looking into the lucrative incentive market but have not yet taken that final step and also those of you who are already active in the sector but would like to increase your market share.
The event will give you a valuable insight into the incentive sector and will cover crucial topics such as:

- How to promote your business to destination management companies, corporate agents and high end event management companies
- How to make your offering exclusive, unique and unusual
- What DMCs etc are looking for when developing their programmes
- How to deal with incentive groups once you have won the business

Tourism Northern Ireland have invited 3 industry speakers who have years of experience in the market and are experts on incentive business. They will share their knowledge and skills to ensure you are better equipped to secure your own share of this profitable segment of Northern Ireland tourism.
Brian Murray, Aspects of Ireland
Brian founded Aspects of Ireland with Aideen Loftus in January 1994. With the help of a hardworking team, the company has grown to be one of Ireland’s leading DMC’s, concentrating on the European market. Brian served as President of the Irish Tour Operators Association (ITOA) from 2005 – 2007. He has also served on the board of SITE Ireland. Brian has over 20 years’ experience in the area of Sales and Marketing, both in Ireland and the UK. A qualified tour guide, he has travelled extensively in Ireland and has an excellent knowledge of the Irish tourism product.
Richard Foulkes, The Paradise Experiment
Richard has worked at the world’s largest independent creative agency, The Imagination Group, as a Board Director responsible for special events, and live communication activity across the world. Richard has worked on an international scale and has extensive experience across the United States, Europe, Middle East and Asia. In 2012 he was appointed Vice Chair of the Business Visitors and Events Partnership (BVEP) and in 2012 he founded The Paradise Experiment a hub for inspiration, education, assistance and connection building in the event industry.
Ken Lyons, Ken Lyons Communications
Ken has been a sales professional within the business tourism industry since 2005 and has worked with a broad range of companies including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Custom Ireland DMC, was part of the pre-opening team at The Marker Hotel, a Leading Hotel of The World, and most recently managed an eight person team at The Westbury, as Director of Sales. He currently holds the presidency of The Site Ireland Chapter. Ken founded Ken Lyons Communications in Dublin, a bespoke consultancy agency, offering sales and marketing strategy and training and development services to the business tourism industry.
