Appointment of Five Members to the Board of Tourism Northern Ireland (TNI)

Appointment of Five Members to the Board of Tourism Northern Ireland (TNI)

The Department is seeking to appoint five Members to the Board of TNI. Appointments will be made on a staggered basis and for a term of three years. The initial set of appointments will be effective from 1 April 2023.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in influencing and developing an industry that has become one of Northern Ireland’s most important economic drivers. Tourism makes a real difference to our economy, transforming perceptions in international markets and at home, helping to instil a real sense of civic pride and community cohesion.

TNI is leading the way in developing a dynamic and innovative tourism product that celebrates the uniqueness of our culture, people and dramatic landscape. These appointments represent a unique opportunity to pay a part in building that vision.

TNI is a statutory Non-Departmental Public Body responsible for the development of Northern Ireland as a tourist destination as well as being responsible for the promotion and marketing of Northern Ireland within Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The organisation’s overall aim is to ensure that tourism contributes to the creation of a dynamic, competitive economy.
