Newell’s Cross Cottages County Down Awarded Four Stars
Tourism NI has awarded four stars to Newell’s Cross Cottages in County Down under its Accommodation Grading Scheme.

Nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains with breath-taking views of Carlingford Lough, the two properties are close to a number of local visitor attractions including Kilkeel Golf Club, Royal County Down Golf Club, Kilbroney Country Park, Cranfield Beach and the seaside town of Newcastle.
There are two newly built properties located on the site, Mabel’s Cottage and Olive’s Cottage.
With a capacity of eight to twelve guests, both cottages boast child-friendly facilities and Mabels’ Cottage has a fully equipped nursery. Newell’s Cross Cottages have also been recognised with the Welcome Scheme for Families, Golfers, Walkers, Film Crews and Groups.
