The roadshow took place at the Everglades Hotel and was the final in a series of four roadshows across Northern Ireland this autumn.

Attendees were welcomed by Jessica Hoyle, Experience Development Manager at Tourism NI, who set the scene for opportunities over the next twelve months.

Those gathered heard about the evolution of the 'Embrace a Giant Spirit’  brand, priorities for product development and future tourism capital investment in Northern Ireland.

Geri Martin, who owns The Chocolate Manor in Castlerock, also shared her experiences of responding to challenges and opportunities over the last decade.

Following the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to network and speak to Tourism NI teams on further opportunities for collaboration and development.

Jessica Hoyle, Experience Development Manager at Tourism NI, said:

“We were delighted to bring the final roadshow in our series to the North West to engage with local businesses. Tourism providers in Derry have always been very responsive to working in partnership with Tourism NI, and we are looking forward to continuing this collaboration. Businesses will now be better informed about our priorities and how we can continue to develop Northern Ireland’s tourism appeal by offering authentic experiences to our visitors and spreading economic benefits across Northern Ireland.”
